"Soooooooooooooooooooo... Do you like stuff?" Ralph Wiggum once uttered these immortal words in an attempt to "get fresh" with Lisa Simpson... Needless to say that one, thankfully, fizzled out and we all learned a valuable lesson about how not to develop friendships! Here we do it a bit differently thankfully! All you need to do put up a post, no obligations of course, about yourself and tell us a little about your bad self. Feel free to copy over your post from the "Show Thyself" thread from out GTP page if you want. Cheers! HP PS, if I hear anyone say "I choo choo choose you" there's gunna be trouble :o "Miss Hoover? I ate my crayon and it tastes hurties" :

Well I've been hiding behind the 'Toplesscouple' banner but it's time to out myself I guess. Just an old chap enjoying himself and reliving his youth. Again. Seems to happen about once a decade for me : Looking forward to some more good racing and banter

Well, I'm Ethan, from Brighton in the South of England...
I'm 17 and I am at college studying biology, chemistry and music.
My main hobbies (other than GT5) are: music and RC cars. I'm currently playing in the Brighton and Hove Big Band and in the summer we're playing the Olympic Torch festival. I also play in my own band, which plays funk/rock music (think early RHCP) and we're just started gigging together. In my life I've played around 65-70 gigs.
After a 5 year gap I'm getting back in RC cars - though I'm too poor to get a new one so I'm fixing up my current one.

Hi Crappers, I'm Stew from about 80k's north of Sydney, I have lived near the beach all my life and will never leave. I work as a IT Project Manager and work from home a few days a week and go to Sydney a couple of days. I spend about 50 hours a week working on the laptop, and am on the forum a fair bit, cos I get bored of work quickly. Most of my spare time is spent with my wife and 9 year old lengendary son, Jack. We spend all weekends playing some sort of sport, which leaves little time for playing GT5. I play golf every Saturday and do a bit of mountain bike riding and Jack loves soccer, surfing and tennis. I'll also spend a fair bit of time watching Golf, Rugby League (Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs), EPL (Go the Gunners), and A-League (Local soccer - Central Coast Mariners) which is why I'll usually only be on Gt5 for less than 10 hrs a week. This is usually from 10pm when the family is asleep, or wife is reading. I also love an occasional beer on the weekend, which renders me half asleep on a Friday or Saturay night while racing. That's my excuse anyway !

I'll start by copying over our initial post from CRAP. He's RoadsterCouple (Pete), I'm MR2Couple (Lissa) and we live in Rugby, England. Our biggest passion was always bikes, but a couple of big health problems in late 2010 meant we had to give up our beloved Ducati and turn to four wheels instead. We have a Mark III MR2 Roadster, hence our PSN names. We're old (although I'm not as old as Pete) but we don't smell of wee! We have four children and two grandchildren between us, but only share our home now with three cats. Came to Gran Turismo fairly recently, but we're hooked! Now, as RC seems to have come out of the closet, time also for me to stop hiding behind our dual persona. Hence the change of name. When I'm not playing GT5 or browsing the CRAP forum I like watching football and bike racing, pottering in the garden and I'm an avid reader. I've been lucky enough to visit a few European countries with Pete on our bike, and even visited a place HP may recognise well! Oh, and we were once ordered away from Buckingham Palace by armed police! :o ;D ;D

Hey, guys! My name is Lee and I live in a small village called Mileham near Norwich.
Other than playing GT5, I work as a volunteer in my local shop, and I sometimes help referee local football games near where I live (Yes, I'm part of the scum, go on, boo me. You know you want to.).
I have a mental disability called Autisism, and it's something I hate living with.
See you on race day!

ThE referees a ..... Rather good fella haha and I congratulate you for you're volunteering as the world needs people like you (I know it doesnt work . ) Seriously how is it being the unfairly hated refs (wich are paramount to football that no-one seems to care about ) but hey I always try to defend refs (when they make a good call for me -only slightly bias haha) What do you think about goalie technology (I know it wont affect you but hey ) Oh I nearly forgot lee boo

Hey Mike, glad you got here - never, ever think of yourself as an immigrant... Sure there are ignorant people out there, but none here One of my best mate's dad came over during WWII from Wroclaw and there has been a Polish presence in the UK for far longer than that, so you're part of the cultural scenery dude. Glad to have you on board.

Bonjourno. My name is Chris. Was introduced to this place by roadstercouple and MR2Couple. We are old biker buddies. I don't ride on the road anymore but spend a fair few days on track with my CBR600RR: Also enjoy a bit of Mountain Biking, walking my dog and am also quite fond of my job. Which involves a bit of this: See you guys out on track.

I might be going on tour with a rather large band in a few months, just waiting on the tour to be confirmed then I'm in!

It's a good industry but it's unforgiving, not for everyone! I have to remain tight lipped on that for now mate, my mate is the promoter and he swore me to secrecy until its all confirmed, a huge name in metal right now though

Industry is a strange one. Full of lovely people and some unpleasants. I don't take it very seriously at all...at the end of the day it's the entertainment industry and it should be fun to work in it. At the end of the day it's plugging cables into things, not rocket science.
Oh just thought as this is a car forum of sorts I should post some of the photos from Top Gear Live...as you can imagine there was some interesting things there.

Good to see you've signed up and you'll find everyone one on here very friendly, even if some of them are slightly mad! (Mentioning no names out of fear of the ban hammer!) For those who haven't met Britney yet, Pete and I have probably ridden more miles with him than pretty much anyone else. He's OK, for a youngster! ;D See you on the track, Britney, and I'm sure Pete will be along at some point to also say welcome, in his own inimitable manner!
