£25 quid cheaper then a WSP, good reviews and compatible with more than one model of wheel? Me thinks I've found a new candidate. Thanks very much JSB Also E10rice you're bloody quick for sticks and AT!

Thanks Kolin, yeah not to bad with those things. Just got to get used to the stick and adjust the steering sensitivity. The buttons are also pressure sensitive so getting control of those are a must also so your not just stabbing the gas and break. You did great for your first CRAP event. You'll be fighting it out with us at the front in no time. Its easy to drive around these guys cause you know you can trust them when the battles begin. Bumps happen but these guys will always do their best to avoid them and give spots back when necessary. Look forward to see you on track again. Oh great move in the last race letting my past after the first chicane when we were lapping you. Most people in open lobbies would have just blocked.

You closed the gap very quickly it only seemed fair. Plus I was repeatedly doing wide/bad lines on that turn anyway hehe What part broke by the way JSB? Seen a couple of reviews (the minority mind you) saying there was wielding issues on that stand?

Seen a couple of reviews (the minority mind you) saying there was wielding issues on that stand? Nothin of the welding. The threads on two bolts for tighteing the hinge holding the upright to the base wore away in the middle of the bolt but they have replaced a whole part of the assembly for no cost - within a day after I emailed them on Amazon. If it ever gave up the ghost I might consider upgrading but it's great value for money. It has space for a G27 gearbox if you had one. I'm DFGT - although clearly not today - as I said I reckon the DS3 was designed with Ewoks in mind. If I race tonight it will be with wheel

Since well, I'm scared my DFGT won't be supported on the PS4. Just thinking ahead

Hi chaps, I've just been approved into CRAP!
PSN ID is Greatsuperbig. But name's Lionel. Live in Singapore, 35 years young.
Now just one question: I'm new to this organised lounge thing, so how do I find the CRAP informal drives when I'm online?

Hey there. Unless they've changed the system in my absence, you should be getting Friend Requests from the five loungues where CRAP members hang out. CRAP Casual or CRAP Free run will be the best for casual meet-ups and you just access them through your community tab and go to their lobby.
In other words, these will not show up online as they are private lounges.
I'm sure Lissa or one of the active members will be along to answer properly soonish.

If theres no-one there to start off post a message on the forum.. then friend any CRAP members you meet.
Also have a look on the forum.. as many of us have our PSN ID in our profile.
I've just noticed the PSN id field has gone since we upgraded to this new forum, so have re entered mine. Other members may have to do the same.
Anyway, just ask people for their PSN and you can friend request them mentioning CRAP or we can do the same for you.
Welcome.

Welcome aboard Lionel, feel free to add me if you like. I havent been on much lately but i have been showing up for offical races when i can. also if you head into the casual or free practice lounges and no one is in there dont leave right away. hang out change the room settings and track to what you would like and do some laps. Someone will show up eventually and before you know it theres 6+ people in the lounge. Look forward to see you on track soon and dont be afraid to join in this weekend for the GT500 race at Tokyo.

Hallo fellow crapers, here is my little introduction. I'm a 22 year old fella, that lives not to far away form Oslo, Norway. My GT career has been very casual and relaxed. But when I bought myself a G27 wheel that pretty much changed. I'm still pretty bad at the game, but I really enjoy learning new techniques and driving lines. I use the paddles for the most part, but on lower PP cars I sometimes use the clutch and stick.
Anyway, I'd love if I could get some friends to race and learn with. Not many of my friends play PlayStation, so my friendslist is kinda empty. Hope to see you guys soon, have a good one!
PS: Feel free to add me on PSN: ACiD_2k

No the best roads in the world, almost none of the are straight either lol And the swedes? We want at least some challenge

I guess I've been around here long enough to share some personal info. My first contact with CRAP was with Lissa & Pete. It was just refreshing to be in a room with mature, polite, nice folk (hard to come by in most open rooms). I like endurance racing and got involved with HP and the practice races for the 24 hour. The friendliness and mature attitudes (and lack of profane language) of CRAP racers seem to have won me over. Since then I have also had quite a bit of correspondence with JohnScoonsBeard and consider him a great asset to your group. I spent an evening testing with micanthony and found a kindred spirit who lives about 40 miles from me. I am an opinionated old geezer, 64 going on 17. I am a retired 25 year Honda engineer and have been a member of 3 Championship race teams, both bikes and cars. I rode motorcycles exclusively for 22 years but discovered boating in the middle 80s (it hurts a lot less when you fall off). I've owned nearly every racing game ever made for the PS system (I still have about 60 of them for the original PS). I bought a VRC 13 years ago and have been using wheels and chassis ever since. Currently using a Playseat chassis with the updated VRC seat and a Thrustmaster T500. My lovely wife puts up with the hour after hour sounds of roaring engines that fill our house. I was born and raised in Canada but moved to the US to start high school. Since I am retired I have plenty of time to devote to my favorite pastimes .... videography, boating, travel and online racing. Apparently, I am also long-winded :-) If anyone outside the US who would like to see some of the sights from here, you are welcome to check out my YouTube travel channel ... www.youtube.com/user/travelswithyoly (also you can find a link there to my virtual racing channel)All videos are available in 1080p and there is no advertising of any kind on my travel channel. Also, one more thing ... can someone tell me how to post a picture in a thread :-)

wow a Honda Engineer! Thats really cool. Never would have imagined we'd have one of those around here. To post pics you need to hit the blue "reply" button and you'll see a picture button up at the top. Your pics need to be hosted on an online site like photobucket. insert the images link and add a caption if you like and post. If your into the idea of talking about your time with Honda I'd be interested in reading it. You could start your own tread.

I'm sorry to hear about the need to host pictures on an additional online site in order to post pictures ... just too much trouble for me. GTPlanet had a really easy way to post pics without having to do that. I do have a nice collection of memorabilia and wouldn't have minded sharing a few of the more unusual pics with you. But I can share this little tidbit ... www.kingmotorsports.com/blog/post/Mugen-SCCA-GT4-CRX.aspxI worked in the "Special Projects Dept" and designed the fully adjustable front suspension for the CRX GT4 that won every race it entered including 2 National SCCA championships. It was Mugen's entry into the USA market and the preliminary meetings found me having lunch with Mugen's founder, Mr. Honda's son, Hirotoshi Honda. Some of the proudest moments of my fun career :-) The article only mentions Dix (the guy who hired me at Honda in 1981) and Charlie, but I can see me at the left rear corner pushing the car and my feet in one of the photos :-)

Ok here's an absolutely noob question: What's with the CRAP Div-A and Div-B races? So if I'm new, do I start by joining Div-B?
